Dear Colleague:
Welcome to the newly created web site of the Social Science Education Consortium.  We believe you will find this site interesting and useful for your educational needs.

Here are the features of this web site:

• About SSEC tells you who we are and what we do, and includes a historical timeline of the organization.
• You may Join SSEC by joining the National Council for the Social Studies. A link to the Member Forum can also be found on this page where you can discuss SSEC issues, ask questions & share information.
• In Publications you will find several seminal SSEC publications that are no longer available and are unlikely to be revised.
• Our 2010 Annual Conference will be in Hungary, and a brief description of the conference is included.
• In Projects, we include the high school economics investigations developed with National Science Foundation funding.
• Links will connect you to various social studies/social science organizations.
• SSEC Governance tells you how we are governed and identifies our Board of Directors.
